The absolutely brilliant weather (cloudy, breezy, rainy) made me think of the smooth, mellow sounds of Jack Johnson again. This is ‘Never Know’ which has some of my favourite lyrics: Never knowing We’re shocking but we’re nothing We’re just moments, we’re clever but we’re clueless We’re just human, amusing and confusing We’re trying, but where [...]

The absolutely brilliant weather (cloudy, breezy, rainy) made me think of the smooth, mellow sounds of Jack Johnson again.

This is ‘Never Know’ which has some of my favourite lyrics:

Never knowing

We’re shocking but we’re nothing

We’re just moments, we’re clever but we’re clueless

We’re just human, amusing and confusing

We’re trying, but where is this all leading?

We’ll never know

Along with José González, Jack Johnson is quickly becoming my favourite easy listening music. An ex once told me that this is one more sign of old age approaching. Be that as it may….

P.S. In a previous post I’ve said I prefer Jack Johnson’s 2003 album ‘In Between Dreams’ to this album from 2005, ‘On & On’. I don’t any more. This one has grown on me.
