At this early point in El Presidenté’s (my nick name for Obama) first term there are already films calling him out on all the campaign promises he has reneged on and all the lobbyists and ex-banking motherfuckers he has filled his administration with. (Rahm Emmanuel anyone?)

For people not clued in to the conspiracy theories (for want of a better term), this film may seem to go off on the deep end about global banking agendas and a New World Order but even so, just the laundry list of promises (already) broken and shady back room deals makes for thoroughly interesting viewing.

Something for all you Obamabots to really think about and form an opinion that is actually your own, not the product of some fucking Facebook group.

This little gem is an honest to God audio clip of everyone’s favourite US prez and apparent Jesus reincarnate, Barack Obama, swearing like only a black man can. It’s from El Presidenté’s reading of the audio book, Dreams of My Father and has been doing the rounds of ‘teh internets’ for a while now. I thought I’d use it to test out a new WordPress Plugin and to prove that I’m not the only foul mouthed asshole around.

We have a wannabe novelist coming up with headlines at the Indian Express. I’ve written before about the ridiculous amount of Obama mania in India but this is just getting out of hand.

About a month ago, after he was confirmed as ‘President Elect’ our country went into a huge tizzy about how he hadn’t made an official call to India and for days ‘pundits’ were weighing in with ‘expert opinions’ about it. ‘India is important’, ‘He will call us last’ Gimme a fucking break.

How many people who watched the inauguration yesterday know a single thing about Mr Obama? Quick question. Which group was the biggest single contributor to Obama’s campaign fund? Stumped?

It was the sub-prime mortgage lenders. Does the term ‘sub-prime crisis’ ring a bell?

Obama’s campaign finance manager?  

Penny Pritzker. She used to be at the head of one of the larger sub-prime lenders, Superior Bank. Federal regulators closed the 2.3 million US $ bank in 2001. The bank’s borrowers and depositors suffered huge losses. The bank’s owners (Pritzker included) of course, could still end up making a profit from the bank’s collapse. There have been legal charges including allegations of racketeering levelled against them.

You think any of this will matter now that Mr. Obama is el presidenté? 

No fucking way.

Last year, while fuel prices were rocketing skywards and crude was near 180 US $ a barrel, every media outlet was quoting international investment banking and securities company Goldman Sachs’ repeated statements that crude would hit 150 US $, then later 180 US $ and at the height of the madness, 200 US $.

Admittedly, my grasp of the futures markets is extremely weak, to say the least but it seems that Goldman Sachs was actually shorting crude prices i.e. betting that crude prices would go down and they made some huge profits on this speculation. Are any of the journalists at any these media organisations even doing a little bit of digging? A little bit of checking to see if there may be, any conflict of interest? Hell no! 

Does anyone even give a fuck about the fact the price of such an essential commodity is fluctuating so wildly? One that influences the prices of the food we eat, the gas we use to cook that food and almost every other commodity we use and that these changes in price are not based on demand and supply but on the basis of international banking and investment firms making a profit on speculation and using the fourth estate as their shills?

The media on one hand quotes the predictions of ‘experts’ from the very same companies reaming us with price manipulations like Chase, Goldman Sux and JP Morgan to mislead us and then to distract people from the stuff that matters it feeds us with images of Amy Winehouse’s visits to rehab and the fact that Obama (who’s election everyone is treating like Jesus’ second coming) may appoint an Indian as the Surgeon General.

Geez.

‘His Life’ is a chilling look at the life of former US president, Bill Clinton. But not the Clinton most people are familiar with, the dude who played the saxophone, found interesting uses for cigars, and had a very narrow definition of the word sex. This film originally came out in 2004 and it’s name is a play on the name of his book ‘My Life’.

It shows how easily the media kept people distracted from the Clintons’ dirty dealings, abetment of organized crime and communist spying while focusing on Clinton’s sexual escapades. The second half of the film is particularly eye-opening as it goes into great detail about the staggering amount of people with knowledge of the Clintons’ nefarious activities that have disappeared, allegedly committed suicide or been killed in shootings or plane crashes. This also includes a number of women who claimed to have had relations with the former president or were about to go public with such allegations.

Watch the film and then wonder about the kind of media white-wash that is going on with current President-elect, Barack Obama. Google some of his team and you will find that a large number of these people, hired by the president that was supposed to represent change, are the same old capitol hill crooks that have gone back and forth from American Big Business to the administration.

Case in point. Rahm Emanuel. Barack’s Chief of Staff. Emanuel has been at one time or another Assistant to the President Bill Clinton for Political Affairs and then Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy. But most interestingly, this schmuck, who the papers have been eulogising as ‘Rahmbo’ was on the Board of Directors for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (“Freddie Mac”) during the very period that Freddie Mac was plagued with scandals involving campaign contributions and accounting irregularities. The same Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae that have been recently bailed out by US taxpayers for (pulling a figure outta my ass here) about 600 Billion US $.

So, to all the dolts who got swept up in Obamamania (including the Indian dolts that sent me invites to join the support Obama group) please stop being such mindless sheeple and spend just one fucking hour of your life actually reading something worth a damn. Honestly.
