So, for the first time in almost a decade there is a new Ferrari that is truly drop dead gorgeous. Beautifully balanced proportions, a big, rakish windscreen that plunges into the hood, flared haunches pulled taut over massive five spoke wheels with rubber-band thin tyres on them and that glorious, sinfully wet looking red paint.

If I were a cat I’d be purring right now…
