More FAIL from Microsoft!

February 18th, 2009

This is the new Microsoft OS for Smart-phones (for those masochists who don’t get enough of the awesome ‘Windows Experience™’ on their computers. Thwaack! Thank you sir! May I have another?)

Notice how even in the demo the phone isn’t actually doing anything.

Oh and BTW! My favourite part of all this? This might be Microsoft’s answer to the Apple iPhone. It’s iPhone killer as it were.

And what have they called it? The MyPhone! LOL. This shit just writes itself! I don’t even have to try with stories about these monkeys.

Thank you for coming ladies and gentlemen. Don’t forget to tip your waitresses. I’m here all week.

    You removed the ‘Hire Me’ page. Did you find a new job?

    @J

    Nope. I just think that between the ‘Work’ and ‘About’ pages there is enough information for ‘prospective employers’. Plus they can mail or comment and ask for a resumé and a showreel.

    Offtrack question, if you don’t mind. (Asking in comments cz I couldn’t find you email address.
    If I were looking for a person who I could assist on media productions with a tilt towards the editing side but generally covering other areas too, where should I be looking? I am a student. Was hoping for practical experience but channels aren’t hiring.

    I feel your pain man. What I did when I was new to the industry was move to Mumbai and work for Genesis Films for 6 months. I got treated like absolute shit and paid nothing (i mean NO MONEY) but because of the sheer volume of work I learnt quick and then left when I couldn’t take it anymore. In Delhi, Miditech is a good place to go intern, you get paid a small amount and treated better. The only problem is that they are now at the other end of Gurgaon. Explore around, you’ve got one huge advantage, in an industry where there is always someone willing to do it for less money, NO ONE can undercut someone willing to work for free :)

    heh heh. Might as well make the most of that USP while I can.
    But lemme know if I can assist you on any project. If you could use the ‘free’ hand. I shall apply at Miditech as soon as the academic obligations are done away with. Thanks again.
